Kathryn K Pepper

About Kathryn Katafiasz Pepper…

Kathryn is a writer, coach and workshop presenter.  While growing up in Toledo, Ohio, she spent countless hours dreaming up stories that unfolded in her imagination over multiple days.  She attended Findlay University, graduating magna cum laude, with a B.S. in psychology and philosophy.  At Duquesne University, she received an M.S.Ed., and later became certified as a Guiding Mindful Change coach.  Although she loved writing for as long as she can remember, it took a number of years (too many) before she sought her MFA in Creative Writing from Carlow University, studying in Pittsburgh, PA with writers from across the country, and in Ireland with Irish writers.  She is also a member of the Madwomen in the Attic fiction workshops at Carlow.  Her home is just outside of Pittsburgh.

Kathryn’s publications include essays on transforming self-talk and overcoming shyness, a variety of articles in the newsletters of non-profits, and several short stories.  She is currently looking for an agent to represent her novel, Storm Dreams, the story of a woman remaking her life to live with more passion, purpose and meaning.
